Elise Downes
Community Programming Manager
Elise Downes is a Washington, DC-based event producer and strategist with a passion for building community and creating impactful shared experiences. As the Community Programming Manager for the AgeTech Collaborative™ from AARP, Elise plans and develops online programs, workshops, and opportunities for the growing AgeTech ecosystem to connect, engage, and share insights. With over a decade of experience creating, planning,
and managing high-visibility programs and events at the intersection of technology, government, and innovation, Elise has collaborated with members of Congress, Presidential appointees, foreign dignitaries, Fortune 500 executives, leading startups, and emerging technology companies.
Prior to joining the AgeTech Collaborative, Elise served as the Director of Events at CTIA – The Wireless Association, where she produced thought-leadership and advocacy events to promote policies that drive innovation and investment in the wireless telecommunication industry.
