Shawn has three decades of lending experience, including almost every consumer lending product and the entire credit spectrum. As the head of the Sub-Prime credit card business at Capital One, Shawn grew earnings for that business to $1B in after-tax profit. In other roles at the company, he radically reduced the cycle time for executing direct mail campaigns and grew the recoveries business from breakeven to $35M after-tax profit.

In his last role at Capital One, Shawn created the Chief Customer Officer role improving the company’s net promoter score by eight points. Shawn then co-founded ZestFinance, one of the first companies to apply machine learning to consumer finance. He also served as CEO of 2Checkout, an international payments business. Shawn has spent the last five years consulting to financial service companies of all sizes. He holds a BA from Columbia University and an MBA from The Wharton School.
