Panelists:

Allison Steitz is an investor with BlueRun Ventures, an early stage venture capital firm based in the Bay Area. Allison focuses on seed and series A investment opportunities in enterprise and consumer deep tech globally. Prior to BlueRun, Allison worked for Quona Capital, a VC firm investing in inclusive fintech companies in emerging markets. Allison earned her BA in Political Science and Mathematics from Wellesley College.

Caroline Yeager is currently an Associate at IrishAngels, an angel investing group and venture fund that is based in Chicago and affiliated with the University of Notre Dame, though she recently moved to the Bay Area to act as their West Coast scout. Prior to joining the IrishAngels team, she was an analyst at GE Ventures, where she worked on a startup in the drone space. Caroline is originally from Madison, Wisconsin. She earned her BS from Boston College and an MSM from Notre Dame.

Lewam Kefela is an Investor at VilCap Investments, an early stage global impact venture fund. She previously worked as an analyst at the Carlyle Group focusing on the emerging market funds, and for an Iowa-based financial technology startup (pre-IPO), contributing to product, customer success, and company strategy. Lewam graduated from the College of William and Mary where she studied Finance and Economics, and was born and raised in Kenya.
