Join Girls in Tech Los Angeles for our second professional development panel of 2019, bringing you a discussion of health technology from digital apps to health services to consumer products.
Enjoy an evening of networking and light snacks with fellow women and allies in tech, followed by a moderated panel. The discussion will be opened up to questions from the audience before wrapping for the evening.

Anne Wellington, Managing Director of the Cedars-Sinai Accelerator, provides expertise and guidance to promising early stage medtech and digital health companies as they collaborate with Cedars-Sinai to rapidly iterate and scale innovative technology solutions.
Prior to her current role, she supported the Accelerator program as Entrepreneur-in-Residence. Previously, Anne was Chief Product Officer and a founding team member at Stanson Health, where she developed an EMR-integrated, patient-specific clinical decision support and analytics product, recently named by KLAS as the #1 solution for clinical process improvement. In her role at Stanson Health, Anne focused on developing scalable, standardized processes for the authoring, deployment, and analysis of evidence-based clinical algorithms, specifically focused on reducing cost and waste based on personalized recommendations driven by patient data. Additionally, Anne has provided product strategy expertise to a variety of leading healthcare technology organizations, primarily focused on clinical decision support, precision medicine, clinical content development and management, and actionable analytics. She began her career at Epic, supporting the technical implementation of Epic’s inpatient orders and clinical documentation products.
Jen Bailey is the West Coast Director of Sales for Maven, a digital clinic and employee benefit for women and families. Jen leads sales efforts for enterprise business across the west coast and introduces family and maternity programs to leading employers like Riot Games, Snap and more.
Before joining Maven, Jen led sales and business development for a Santa Monica based fintech company called Tuition.io, a student loan repayment employee benefit helping employers like Hulu, EA and Massage Envy pay down their employees’ student debt. She began her corporate sales career and passion for employee wellness with Equinox Fitness Clubs.
Jen is born and raised in Los Angeles, attended Burbank-based Woodbury University and received a Bachelor’s Degree of Architecture – practicing as a designer before transitioning to sales at the height of the recession. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and 16 month old son.
Mastaneh Sharafi, Ph.D., R.D., is Director of Scientific and Clinical Affairs at Ritual, a science-based company aiming to change women’s health through transparent vitamins and by promoting healthy habits. Mastaneh has a PhD in Nutritional Sciences and is a Registered Dietitian. She has received training in dietary quality, childhood and adult nutrition, ingestive behavior, and chemosensory perception from Penn State University and the University of Connecticut. She is an author of multiple papers in peer-reviewed journals. Her dietetic work is focused on promoting healthy eating habits by translating the science of nutrition and government recommendations into practical information for the public.
