From the start, New York FinTech week was designed to be an inclusive collaboration of the entire startup ecosystem. At Empire Startups, we want nothing more than to use our platform to facilitate connection, collaboration, and community.

Anyone is welcome to host an event, and we will gladly post the details on our website for free!

Once you’ve created a live registration page with a well-defined agenda, click below to be included on our list of events. Typical turnaround is 24-48hrs.

We ask that all organizers include the following banner somewhere on your registration page and link back to the NY FinTech week page.

New York Fintech Week is a series of conferences, workshops, hackathons, meetups and parties. Attendees come from near and far to hear the best and brightest across various verticals in FinTech.

Empire Startups acts as a platform for New York FinTech Week and we use our site, email, social, and SEM to raise awareness about EVERY event across the week.

The opportunities are endless when it comes to the type of event you can host. Feel free to reach out to us directly for examples of previous events we’ve seen been successful.

We’ve heard from many event hosts in the past that they are concerned about hosting an event at a “peak” time. Our best advice for you? The more events for attendees to choose from, the better! Almost every event in 2022 was oversubscribed. In other words demand > supply!

Pro tip: Breakfast and lunch time slots are underrated AND cost effective.. 

A great thing about New York FinTech Week is that events are hosted all over the city! However, if you need any suggestions or help securing a spot, please reach out for more information on how we can help.

Yes, we do post invite-only events as long as there is a clear way for potential attendees to request an invitation. We ask;

  1. Event hosts to commit to responding to 100% of attendance requests letting them know one way or the other.
  2. Publish a date in which prospective attendees can expect to hear from you.
  3. NOTE: All invite-only events will be marked “Sold Out” on Monday Apr 24. We do this so the community has a good experience and does not apply to attend something they’re highly unlikely to get it to.

Waitlists for events are allowed. Attendees like to plan their schedule for New York FinTech week in advance, and we are relying on you to provide timely updates. We ask;
