Workshop Instructor:Lu Wang: CEO & Founder at Komodo, B.S. and Masters from Harvard University, Faculty at Harvard’s Department of Continuing Education and American Management Association. Through her decade of leading at Komodo and beyond, Lu has created eight data science and data engineering teams, guided over a dozen organizations through major digital transformations, and showed people what is possible from data and technology. She built her own multimillion dollar business over the last eight years designing custom data products for clients. Graduated with B.S. and Masters from Harvard University, she is now a faculty at both Harvard’s Department of Continuing Education and American Management Association, teaching AI/ML and Data Mining, and AI Business Essentials.
Help Desk Hosts:Brian Kinney: CTO & Solutions Architect at Komodo, Certified AWS Solutions Architect. Brian has extraordinary knowledge of software engineering and data processing technologies and techniques. He has designed and developed production scale AI and ML decision making systems in industries ranging from digital banking to web advertising. He graduated from Colgate University with a degree in mathematics and computer science.
Cameron French, Senior Data Engineer at Komodo, B.S. in Nuclear Science & Engineer from MIT. Cameron is a specialist in technology R&D, solution design, and full-stack engineering. Throughout his career, Cameron has lent his technical expertise and problem-solving skills to clients in a variety of industries including nuclear energy, oil & gas, telecom, and fintech. Cameron’s greatest joy in life is creating things from scratch – so when he’s not building a data pipeline or developing an app, you’ll find him cooking in his kitchen or writing and producing music in his home studio.
Zachary Germain, Senior Data Engineer at Komodo. Zach is a specialist in data ETL, automation process design, data science, and full-stack engineering. Zach is the lead data engineer for all the tools in Analytics Hub. He graduated with Honors from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Fixing things and solving puzzles are some of Zach’s key strengths – whether it is powering through escape rooms, figuring out tricky rock climbing routes, or navigating a complex set of requirements for a data-product feature.
Gabe Sanna, Software Architect at Komodo, Master’s degree in Software Engineering from Harvard University. Gabe has experience in information science, IT, technical writing, and software engineering, his specialty is cloud infrastructure and software architecture. He’s helped teams of all sizes solve various kinds of technical problems in numerous industries, including fintech, libraries, publishing, and academia. Off hours, he can usually be found woodworking, dancing, or strumming his guitar, and he brings his love of making things to his work in technology.
