New York FinTech Week 2025

New York Fintech Week is a series of conferences, workshops, hackathons, meetups and parties. Attendees come from near and far to hear the best and brightest across various verticals in FinTech.

Empire Startups acts as the platform for New York FinTech Week and we use our website, newsletter, social, and SEM to raise awareness about EVERY event across the week.

The opportunities are endless when it comes to the type of event you can host.

From social gatherings, to demo days, to micro-conferences.

FinTech is hard for many reasons but access to capital and access to customers are the two top ways to help founders.

The week tends to get heavy on adult beverages. Don’t shy away from coffee and bagels versus expensive cocktails. 

The latest new events can be submitted is April 7 2025.

We’ve heard from many event hosts in the past that they are concerned about hosting an event at a “peak” time. Our best advice for you? The more events for attendees to choose from, the better! Almost every event in 2023 was oversubscribed. In other words demand > supply!

Pro tip: Breakfast and lunch time slots are underrated AND cost effective.. 

A great thing about New York FinTech Week is that events are hosted all over the city! We recommend the variety of locations available through WeWork.

Yes, we do post invite-only events as long as there is a clear way for potential attendees to request an invitation. We ask;

1. Event hosts to commit to responding to 100% of attendance requests letting them know one way or the other.
2. Publish a date in which prospective attendees can expect to hear from you no later than April 14.
3. NOTE: All invite-only events will be marked “Sold Out” one week prior to the event. We do this so the community has a good experience and does not apply to attend something they’re highly unlikely to get it to.

Waitlists for events are allowed. Attendees like to plan their schedule for New York FinTech week in advance, and we are relying on you to provide timely updates. We ask;

1. Event hosts commit to responding to 100% of waitlist requests letting them know one way or the other.
2. Publish a date in which prospective attendees can expect to hear from you.
3. NOTE: All waitlisted events will be marked “Sold Out” 2 weeks prior to FinTech Week, on Friday Apr 5. We do this so the community has a good experience and does not apply to attend something they’re highly unlikely to get it to.
